PYBAR increases procurement and supply capabilitiesOctober 18, 2017
Our People, Procurement & Supply
In July, PYBAR restructured its finance and supply departments to facilitate improved procurement and supply capabilities.
Our enhanced supply function is now a dedicated Procurement and Supply division, headed up by newly appointed division general manager Tom Devjak.
The division has a broad range of responsibilities including sourcing and transporting equipment, parts and consumables. It will focus on ensuring all our underground contract mining services to clients are delivered efficiently and productively, and is structured to support our continued growth.
PYBAR’s new General Manager – Procurement and Supply
Tom has over 15 years’ experience in procurement, logistics and transport. He is well-credentialed having previously held senior leadership roles with national and international companies including two of Australia’s largest transport and logistics providers.
PYBAR CSO, Andrew Rouse, commented: “The elevation of the supply function in the business and the appointment of Tom Devjak to this new role reflects PYBAR’s acknowledgement of the importance of these functions to our projects.
“Increasing our competencies in supply, procurement and logistics is essential not only to PYBAR’s performance but also our growth.”
