PYBAR has integrated its safety, quality and environment protection systems into a singular Enterprise Management System (EMS). PYBAR's EMS is applied consistently throughout all operations as a fundamental approach of how we conduct our business.
PYBAR's progressive management approach to safe production has established
it as an industry leader in implementing and maintaining a
positive safety culture and safe working environments. The
following principles (which also incorporate the
requirements of AS/NZS 4801 - OH&S Management Systems) are
embodied in our EMS :
- All employees are responsible for safety,
- Comprehensive yet practical, safety standards define various safe procedures and management practices.
- Competency through training ensures that everyone understands, accepts and meets these standards.
- Audits and inspections are undertaken to evaluate implementation of the standards.
- Involvement and empowerment throughout our organisation builds ownership of safety practices.

We are able to achieve this by adopting the following practices:
- Integrate environment practices with the Company's operations
- Operations personnel are responsible for all for compliance with environment standards and procedures
- Minimise the impact of activities on the environment from emissions and discharges
- Control the generation of wastes and the consumption of energy and water
- Recognise and protect special heritage and cultural values through clearly defined consultation with clients and contract procedures
- Regularly monitor operations to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and client standards and where standards do not exist, the application of appropriate self regulation.
These principles are embodied in our EMS which also incorporates the requirements of AS/NZS 14001 - Environmental Management Systems.

- Effective planning, leadership and verification process that leads to a clear purpose and direction
- The design, development and review of processes that are sufficiently rigorous to ensure that each product and service supplied meet statutory/client requirements
- Quality control measures and standards that are
maintained in all aspects of any task - purchasing, design development, human resources, production, commissioning, installation and servicing
- Personnel who perform activities affecting quality are qualified on the basis of appropriate education, certification, training and /or experience as required
