FIRST RAISE BORE VENT SHAFT COMPLETED AT SAVAGE RIVER MINE

December 16, 2024

PYBAR is pleased to announce the successful completion of the first raise bore vent shaft at Grange Resources’ Savage River Mine in Tasmania.

PYBAR has been on site at Savage River since early 2024, providing services, labour and equipment for continued development of an underground exploration decline and lateral development roadways as the existing open cut mine enters the next stage of operation.

Our Raise Bore team joined the PYBAR development crews on site in October to commence installation of the first of two primary ventilation shafts which, when completed, will play a key role in enhancing safety, improving air quality, and supporting the ongoing underground development.

This accomplishment is a testament to the expertise and dedication of our team in delivering this infrastructure, crucial for the next stage of the mine’s development.

A big thank you to everyone involved for their commitment, skill, and teamwork in achieving this significant goal. Here’s to many more successes on the horizon!
