PYBAR is developing the leaders of tomorrow, with the chance to make a difference across actual projects and the opportunity to work in a real mining environment through the graduate engineer program.
Participants in this program gain a wide variety of experience across many facets of mining engineering over a two to three year program. The program is personally tailored to suit individual needs and to ensure professional growth. PYBAR rewards well and ensures induction into the industry has participants hit the ground running.
Stage 1 – PYBAR Induction
Induction involves an introduction to PYBAR and a chance to familiarise with the company’s culture, values and business processes.
Stage 2 – Technical Role
Join the start of the project life cycle, learning the technical and financial drivers of a project by seeing how the business development and technical services department bid for new work and support our operations from a technical perspective.
Stage 3 – Managing Role
This stage transitions graduates from front line work to taking a supervisory role and developing management skills.
Stage 4 – Further Development
Upon completion of the program, graduates can identify areas they wish to pursue for further development, with PYBAR offering various opportunities, whether technically or operationally based.
