Earlier this year, we were thrilled to announce the acquisition of PYBAR Mining Services by the Thiess Group. The transaction, completed on 31 May 2024, heralds an exciting time in PYBAR’s history.

In July, PYBAR was awarded a four-year contract by AIC Mines to provide underground development services at the Eloise Copper Mine Complex in north-west Queensland. 

A brand-new, state-of-the-art jumbo drill has been delivered to our Eloise Mine Complex project following the recent award of a new four-year contract by our client, AIC Mines.

With a fleet of 11 specialised raise bore rigs, a remote shaftlining machine, our team of experienced industry professionals at the helm, and now backed by the strength of the Thiess Group, PYBAR’s Raise Bore Division is well placed to meet the growing demand for raise bore services, worldwide.
