PYBAR has secured its first contract in Tasmania being a 12 month cable bolting and 10,000 metre production drilling project with the Mineral and Metals Group (MMG) at their Rosebery Mine.

Rosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located on Tasmania’s West Coast, approximately 300 kilometres north-west of Hobart. The mine comprises of an underground mine and surface processing operation, producing approximately 800,000 tonnes of ore which is processed into zinc concentrate, lead concentrate, copper concentrate, and gold and silver dor_.

PYBAR will provide a complete cable bolting service of drill, grout/install and tensioning, supplying both the specialist skills of its cable bolting team and a local maintenance and service crew to support the operations.

Equipment to be mobilised includes a Sandvik Tamrock Solo 07-10F production drill, and a newly fully refurbished Sandvik Cabolt 520, a Volvo L120 IT and support service vehicles. 14 people will be employed in this project.

PYBAR looks forward to developing its relationship with MMG and extending its operations into Tasmania.
