The body of
Cameron Goss successfully recovered at Henty Gold Mine
The recovery operation at Henty Gold Mine made
significant progress over the past few days and has concluded with the
successful retrieval of Cameron Goss this morning at 3:00am.
PYBAR CEO, Brendan Rouse expressed relief after the
recovery and praised all involved for their hard work.
“On behalf of all at PYBAR, I express my deepest
sympathies to Cameron’s family and gratitude to all on site for their efforts
in this recovery.”
“This has been a very complex operation and the
recovery and site teams have experienced intense physical and mental strain
over the past weeks. It is an incredibly sad time for all people at the mine
and in the community.”

those affected by the incident.
