Mobilisation has taken place for Saracen’s inaugural underground development – the Red October Mine.
PYBAR Mining Services mobilised to site late September.
PYBAR Director Brendan Rouse was onsite during the mobilisation; ‘In a matter of days the site is really starting to take shape’ he says, ‘We’ve got a team of 40 fully inducted people who have set up the workshop & office facilities and are now working on utilities infrastructure, road works on the open cut ramp & portal area ground support’.

Equipment already positioned in Western Australia was supplemented with new machinery just commissioned. The fleet includes a Sandvik jumbo, new CAT R2900G loader, 2 x 50 tonne trucks, grader, watercart, tool carriers and dozer – all of which have arrived on site.
A concrete batch plant has been set up and commissioned to supply fibrecrete for the portal and surrounding areas in preparation for development to start, as well as providing concrete for the workshop floor and other civil works around the site.
‘This project highlights our ability as a national company provide this fast-track mobilisation anywhere in Australia’ says Brendan Rouse.

This is PYBAR’s sixth project in WA – continuing to build on a strong reputation already established in this state.
