Held in the heart of the goldfields in Kalgoorlie in August every year, Diggers & Dealers is Australia’s premier mining forum, combining presentations by mining and exploration companies and a large exhibition space, showcasing 160 exhibitors from the sector. Delegates include miners, explorers, brokers, bankers, investors, financiers and mining service industries from around the world. The PYBAR MACA exhibition booth showcased the combined expertise of the Thiess Group in both underground and open pit mining, generating much interest among delegates.
The general mood at the Forum was upbeat and positive, and our team enjoyed engaging with representatives from existing and potential clients and learning about emerging opportunities across the industry.
Of course, no visit to Kalgoorlie is complete without the obligatory visit to the super pit lookout which did not disappoint!
